SPINE SURGERY
Dr. Nicole Record is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon. She grew up in Southern California. She attended the University of Colorado, Boulder where she served as a Student Athletic Trainer for both the Varsity Football and Women’s Soccer teams. She then went on to receive a master’s degree in Medical Science from Boston University School of Medicine. After working for a year in the Emergency Department at Harvard’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, she obtained her medical degree in Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.
Dr. Record completed her Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Seton Hall University School of Health and Medical Sciences in Paterson, New Jersey. She also completed a fellowship in Spine Surgery with the San Diego Spine Foundation at Scripps Hospital System.
Dr. Record specializes in surgical and nonsurgical management of spinal disorders, including both the neck and back. She is extensively trained in minimally invasive techniques as well as advanced techniques for degenerative disease and deformity (scoliosis) surgery. Her goal is to help patients reduce their pain and improve their quality of life so they can return to their normal daily activities.
